Mirzapur: The Movie crossed the Rs 150 crore mark at the global box
office within four days of its release, despite witnessing a drop in
collections on its first Monday, trade figures show.
The Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Ali Fazal-starrer collected Rs 15.50
crore nett in India on Monday, registering a 56.9 per cent decline from its
Sunday earnings, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
The Hindi version remained the biggest contributor on Monday with Rs
15.40 crore nett, while the Telugu version added Rs 10 lakh.
The film opened with Rs 25.75 crore nett on Friday, followed by a
collection of Rs 32 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 36 crore nett on Sunday.
The film’s India net collection now stands at Rs 109.25 crore, while its
gross collection has reached Rs 130.97 crore.
Mirzapur: The Movie added Rs 2.50 crore gross from overseas markets on
Day 4, taking its overseas gross collection to Rs 22.50 crore. Its worldwide
gross collection has reached Rs 153.47 crore.
Mirzapur: The Movie has become the eighth Hindi film of 2026 to
achieve the Rs 100-crore domestic milestone. The other films in the club are Dhurandhar
2, Border 2, Bhoot Bangla, Dhamaal 4, Awarapan 2, Welcome to the Jungle and
Hanuman Ansh.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, Mirzapur: The Movie is based on the
popular Prime Video series Mirzapur. The film also stars Jitendra Kumar,
Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Tailang, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Sonal
Chauhan and Shweta Tripathi.
It is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel
Entertainment in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
