Arsenal lineup vs Sunderland today: Predicted starting XI for Premier League

Days after opening its Champions League campaign with a win, Arsenal returns to Premier League action on Saturday, Sept. 12 with a tough match at Sunderland in the North East of England.

Arsenal won each of its first three domestic matches, seeing off Chelsea last weekend in a London Derby. Captain Martin Odegaard has been at the top of his game, scoring four goals in five matches across all competitions to start the new season.

Meanwhile, summer signing Ezri Konsa has been stellar in defense with William Saliba out. Right back Ben White appeared to have suffered a knock in Naples mid-week, but manager Mikel Arteta told reporters his veteran defender should be good to go. Jurrien Timber continues to work his way back from an injury that cost him the World Cup, and was in the Gunners’ traveling squad earlier in the week.
