The Government has refuted claims circulating on social media about various government schemes, which are being spread through AI-generated videos featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Press Information Bureau’s Fact Check Unit has clarified that the video is fake and AI-generated.
It has urged people to remain vigilant against videos and posts shared by such social media accounts. The PIB has also advised people not to share their personal or financial information through suspicious links or registration forms. It urged citizens to verify claims related to government schemes through the official sources of the concerned department.
