Check those tickets. The Powerball jackpot is up to an estimated $332 million, with a $141.7 million cash option, for Wednesday, Sept. 23, after no one matched all six numbers to win the top prize on Monday.
The jackpot has been rolling since an Illinois player won $1.040 billion on Aug. 12, one of the largest prizes in Powerball history. While Monday’s drawing didn’t produce a jackpot winner, a ticket sold in the United Kingdom matched all five white balls to win $1 million, according to lottery officials.

When is the next Powerball drawing?
The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday, September 26, at around 10:59 p.m. ET. The drawing can be watched live on Powerball’s website, and players can rewatch clips on its YouTube channel.
Powerball drawings occur every week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

How to play Powerball
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Depending on local laws, players may also be able to purchase tickets online.
To play, select five white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. Players can also add Power Play for an extra $1 to boost non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.

To win the jackpot, a ticket must match all five white balls and the red Powerball. If no one wins, the jackpot rolls over and continues to grow.
Do you have to be a U.S. citizen or resident to play Powerball?
You do not have to be a U.S. citizen or resident to buy a Powerball ticket.
Anyone who meets the legal age requirement where the ticket is purchased, generally 18 or older, can play while visiting a participating jurisdiction. Winners who live outside the United States are eligible to claim prizes, although taxes may apply.
