As per reports, the Portuguese football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly part of a consortium in talks to buy an equity stake in Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr from the Public Investment Fund.For now, it is not known the percentage of stake that Cristiano Ronaldo is aiming for in Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.As per reports, each of the investors will commit to at least a whopping $100 million.The consortium which Cristiano Ronaldo is a part of also includes RedBird Capital Partners CEO Gerry Cardinale, former Al Nassr president Ibrahim Al Muhaidib, Saudi Media Company chairman Mohammed Al Khuraiji and Hozon Holding chairman and CEO Sharaf Al Hariri.Apart from his investment in Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked to Al Khuraiji after he received a 25 percent stake in Spanish club UD Almeria through his CR7 Sports vehicle earlier this year. The Spanish club UD Almeria is controlled by Al Khuraiji’s SMC Group.At this point in time, Cristiano Ronaldo has not spoken about his potential investment in Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr yet and has remained out of the spotlight amid all the buzz around his intimate wedding with Argentine model and social media influencer, Georgina Rodriguez.

A few months ago, in an interview with broadcaster Thmanyah, the football legend Cristiano Ronaldo said, “I’m very happy. I’m happy here, I want to continue here.”The former Manchester United legend added, “The most important is we keep pushing, we’re there at the top, we don’t know the results of the other opponents.
