Zimbabwe’s Nyasha Gwanzura was the architect of a famous win over the West Indies in the second game of the series, winning it for her side, with an unbeaten 18 and a career-best 4/33. She rises 52 places to sit at 156 in the ICC ODI Women’s Bowling Rankings.
Her team-mate Modester Mupachikwa was among the big movers in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings, moving up 16 places to a career-best 40th on 492 points after scores of 86 and 38 across the two matches.
Francisca Chipare climbed 26 places to joint 123rd after figures of 2/57 and 2/16 across the two matches, while West Indies pair of Ashmini Munisar (up 23 to joint 84th) and Aaliyah Alleyne (up eight to 58th) both advanced as well based on their performances.
Alleyne took 3/44 in the series opener followed by 2/27 in the second game. On the other hand, Munisar picked four wickets at an average of 10.5 over the two games.
