Justin Greaves has been ruled out of the second game of the ODI series against India due to a calf injury. Greaves, who scored a 108-ball 101 in the opening ODI in Thiruvananthapuram – registering his maiden ODI ton – did not take the field during the second innings. He picked up the injury during his innings.
West Indies finished with 295 in the opening game, with John Campbell and Amir Jangoo complementing Greaves’ three-figure score with half-centuries. India chased it down in 41.4 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, with Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scoring centuries.
The second ODI will be played in Guwahati on September 30, while the third game will be held in Chandigarh on October 3, followed by a five-match T20I series from October 6-17.
