American seniors may be eligible for a $90 check, courtesy of President Donald Trump, according to a recent late-night Truth Social post.
Trump announced on Oct. 2 that over 20 million seniors would be receiving the payment, intended to help pay for Medicare Part B premiums.
Who is eligible for Trump Medicare check?
According to the White House, most Medicare Part B enrollees are eligible.
Excluded individuals include those who pay an income-related monthly adjustment amount or those whose premiums are already paid by Medicaid.
If you’re unsure of your eligibility, you can call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
How will I get my Trump Medicare check?
Most eligible seniors will receive their money via direct deposit early this month. Those without direct deposits will receive a paper check mailed to the address registered with their Medicare profile.
If you want to check the status of your payment, you can call the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213.
Are Trump Medicare checks the same as Trump refund checks?
No, this is a separate payment from the $500 Affordable Care Act refund checks previously issued.
