The Galaxy S27 Lineup’s Display Split and Prices Just Leaked, but Don’t Get Too Attached

Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series is set to launch early next year, so the rumor mill is really starting to pick up. Now, tipster @phonefuturist is sharing display upgrades for the Galaxy S27 lineup, along with price tags in certain markets.

Apparently, the Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus will use the M14+ OLED panel, while the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra will use the newer M16. This further shows Samsung is trying to position the Pro and Ultra as its true flagships, while the S27 and S27 Plus are more like cheaper flagship products. We’ll likely see the same pattern with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips in the Galaxy S27 series. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 will be in the Galaxy S27 and Plus, while the Pro and Ultra will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

Pricing is subject to change and likely will, before launch

Before we get into pricing, note that it’s likely to change. Especially given the recent price increases on the Galaxy S26 series in the past couple of weeks.

Currently, the Galaxy S27 is rumored to be around $899; that’s the same price as the Galaxy S26 when it launched, but it is now $999. The Galaxy S27 Plus would be $1,099, the same price as the Galaxy S26 Plus before its recent price hike. The Galaxy S27 Pro will be $1,299, and the S27 Ultra will be $1,399. The Galaxy S27 Ultra also matches the recent price increase of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

With memory prices moving around like this, this is unlikely to stay the same once Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S27 series early next year. RAM prices have already risen over 400% this year, with no sign of slowing.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S27 in February of next year, likely just ahead of MWC once again.
