BEND, Ore. (KATU) — Police in Bend are responding to reports of an active shooter situation at Silver Rail Elementary School.
A large police presence has gathered in the area. Residents are asked to avoid the area.
Few details have been released at this time.
A reunification location has been established at Journey Church, 61303 S Highway 97 near Goodwill and Dairy Queen, police officials said. Students’ families are asked to go there.
