Himanta Biswa Sarma grooves to Gangnam Style in AI video with Assam ministers

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has swapped his usual election-campaign beats for a K-pop classic, at least in the AI universe.

A video shared by the official Instagram account of the Office of Himanta Biswa Sarma shows the chief minister dancing to Gangnam Style alongside state ministers Pijush Hazarika and Jayanta Mallabaruah.

Hazarika is the Minister for Agriculture in Assam while Mallabaruah is Assam’s Minister for Finance.

The AI-generated video features the trio grooving to the 2012 global hit track by South Korean rapper PSY, complete with the track’s signature dance moves.

Sarma is no stranger to dancing in the public eye. During election campaigns and political rallies, the Chief Minister has often broken into his trademark high-energy moves, turning campaign appearances into viral moments.

His routine typically features rhythmic clapping, waving his hands and occasionally jumping with his fists raised, usually to the BJP’s campaign tracks. These performances have become a familiar part of his public persona, with clips frequently circulating on social media.
