As President Donald Trump’s deadline approaches, he is warning that Iran must strike a deal now to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday night or face dire consequences. The president also elaborated on his profane Easter Sunday social media post threatening to destroy Iran’s infrastructure, saying, “Every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding and never to be used again.” NBC’s Garrett Haake reports for TODAY.
