Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche was pressed during his testimony at a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing over who could be compensated from the Justice Department’s anti-weaponization fund. Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., questioned Blanche whether President Donald Trump’s campaign donors or those who assaulted law enforcement during the January 6 riots could receive compensation.
