Three United States fighter jets crashed in Kuwait after they were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses in a friendly fire incident during active combat with Iran. The U.S. says all crew members survived. It is also in Kuwait where the U.S. suffered its first causalities in the rapidly expanding war with Iran. NBC’s Richard Engel reports for TODAY.
