In the wake of two fatal ICE-involved shootings in less than a week, the Department of Homeland Security is now instructing agents to suspend most vehicle stops amid growing uproar. On Truth Social, President Donald Trump wrote, “We cannot give up one of ICE’s most important and effective crime fighting tools,” adding, “it won’t happen on my watch.” NBC’s Erin McLaughlin reports for TODAY.
