Testimony was interrupted Monday in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial by a motion for a mistrial over a new comment about mortal sin.
Two of the prosecution’s three rebuttal witnesses had been on the stand, where they discussed Clancy’s mental state during the killings: psychiatrist Dr. Avram Mack and forensic psychologist Kirk Heilbrun. The jury was sent home early when the judge denied the mistrial motion.
