BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Southeastern Conference is set to play three college football games in the immediate path of Hurricane Isaias Saturday.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER HURRICANE CENTER
The games impacted include four top 10 teams. Ole Miss is set to travel to Nashville, TN to play Vanderbilt Saturday afternoon, Georgia will travel to Tuscaloosa, AL to play Alabama Saturday evening, and LSU will travel to Lexington, KY to play Kentucky also Saturday evening.

College Gameday, which will be in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, also announced it will be moving indoors instead of hosting in its traditional outdoor venue due to the weather threat.
Conditions will vary depending on the strength of Isaias as it moves over a given location. Hurricane Isaias is forecast to make landfall near the AL/FL state line late Friday evening as a Category 2 Hurricane.
Isaias will then weaken as it pushes inland through Alabama during the day Saturday eventually pushing into Tennessee and Kentucky by late Saturday early Sunday. All three games will be impacted by a threat for strong gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Inland flooding will be possible as rain amounts of 2-4″ are possible for much of Alabama and 1-3″ for Tennessee & Kentucky.

LSU fans heading to Lexington will certainly need to pack the rain gear. Rain chances will be increasing through the game as Isaias continues to inch closer and closer into Kentucky. Thankfully tropical cyclones don’t produce a lot of lightning, so we shouldn’t see many lightning related weather delays. Spectators will need to watch for street flooding in and around campus and surrounding areas.
