A new BJ’s Wholesale Club could soon be coming to your town.
The Massachusetts-based wholesale club chain currently operates 267 locations and 206 gas stations across 22 states, according to the company’s website, with the company on track to open 25 to 30 new clubs every two years.
The company recently announced plans for a new location in Tyler, Texas, building on the company’s debut in the Dallas-Fort Worth area earlier this year with four stores. A company spokesperson told USA TODAY the Tyler location is scheduled to open in the spring of 2027. The chain also launched stores in Kentucky and Indiana in 2026.
“Value is the foundation of our company. BJ’s has been delivering unbeatable savings and convenience to families for more than 40 years,” said Bill Werner, executive vice president, strategy and development, BJ’s Wholesale Club, in an Aug. 21 news release. “We’re thrilled by the enthusiasm we’ve seen from members in Texas and look forward to taking care of families in Tyler and the surrounding communities.”
BJ’s Wholesale, much like competitors Costco and Sam’s Club, offers a wide assortment of fresh foods, produce, a full-service deli, bakery, and many locations also feature a gas station.

Where is BJ’s Wholesale Club opening new locations in 2026?
