Narsingi police have booked folk dancer Eshwar Sai following a complaint by a fellow dancer. She alleged that he created and circulated AI-manipulated videos to defame her and also cheated her after allegedly promising to marry her.

Hyderabad: The Narsingi police have booked a case against folk dancer Eshwar Sai following a complaint by a fellow female dancer, who alleged that he created AI-generated videos using personal videos from her phone and circulated them to damage her reputation.
According to the complaint, Eshwar Sai created and shared AI-manipulated videos portraying her as having extramarital relationships. She claimed the videos were intended to defame and humiliate her.
She further alleged that Eshwar Sai had promised to marry her, developed a physical relationship with her on that assurance, and subsequently cheated her.
Based on her complaint, Narsingi police registered a case and are investigating. Two special teams have been formed to trace him. They are also examining the alleged AI-generated videos and other digital evidence as part of the probe.
