Family members of the contestants were brought in and, in a
surprise twist, were asked to rank the players in the latest episode of Rise
and Fall Season 2.
Gautam Gulati may have finally claimed the title of Ultimate
Ruler, but Shehzad seemed to have a different version of events, revealing how
Gautam’s win came together and putting the spotlight on the moves that led him
to the throne.
While Gautam basked in his reign, Karan Patel was battling a
crisis of his own. Having only just re-entered the Tower, his back trouble left
him struggling to cope, with the pressure pushing him to the edge.
“I just want to get out of this place, I’m suffocated, I’m
dead, I’m done,” he said, breaking down.
Meanwhile, in the Penthouse, Gautam and Sonam discussed the
growing closeness between Jashwanth and Niharika. The latter insisted that she
was here to play her game.
Then, the Lift suddenly announced the loved ones of the
players would enter the Tower, but to meet them, the contestants must buy time,
with the cost deducted straight from their prize pots. The Rulers and Workers
had to decide among themselves how much they were willing to sacrifice for a
reunion.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary broke down after the arrival of
her brother. She admitted that she felt cornered in the Tower. But the reunion
soon took a confrontational turn when Shehzad greeted them with remarks that
did not sit well. Priyanka’s brother was quick to remind Shehzad to maintain
his dignity.
The next family member to enter the Tower was Niharika’s
mother, and suddenly, she found herself overcome with emotion. Her mother
encouraged her to play for herself and expressed pride in how far she has come.
Soon after, Jashwanth’s father entered the Tower, greeting everyone and
bringing a welcome dose of laughter to the tense atmosphere.
The family visit came with a twist of its own: the loved
ones had to head to the lobby and rank the contestants, potentially changing
the course of the game. Gautam, as Ultimate Ruler, was exempt from the
rankings.
Priyanka’s brother placed Sonam sixth, Rishabh fifth,
Jashwanth fourth, Priyanka third, Manish second and Niharika first.
While Niharika had her own preferences for the rankings, her
mother had plans of her own. Rishabh landed sixth, Sonam fifth, Manish fourth,
Niharika third, Jashwanth second, and Priyanka took the top spot.
Jaswanth’s father ranked Rishabh sixth, Priyanka fifth,
Sonam fourth, Jashwanth third, Manish second and Niharika first.
Hosted by Virender Sehwag, Rise and Fall Season 2
