This event is exclusively focused on player trials and talent identification and is part of VCL’s broader initiative to discover promising cricketers from across the country. The league has already held successful trials in Gurugram, marking the start of its nationwide talent hunt.

VCL aims to establish a structured platform connecting grassroots tennis-ball cricket talent with franchise-based opportunities. Its nationwide selection programme seeks to identify deserving players and provide them with the opportunity to compete at a higher level.

A key feature of the league is its player bidding model, under which selected players can attract franchise bids ranging from Rs 50,000 up to Rs 5 lakh. This bidding process is designed to introduce competition into player selection and increase visibility and opportunities for emerging talent.

Regarding the league’s vision and upcoming trials, VCL management stated: “Our vision behind Velocity Cricket League is to create meaningful opportunities for talented tennis-ball cricketers who often lack access to organised franchise-based platforms. The November 15 trials at Saba Karim Cricket Academy, Noida, are another important step in our nationwide talent hunt. We want to reach every corner of India, identify deserving players and provide them with an opportunity to represent franchises and potentially secure bids of up to ₹5 lakh. VCL is not just a league; it is an effort to build a stronger ecosystem for tennis-ball cricket in India.”

VCL plans to conduct player trials in multiple cities across India to ensure talented cricketers from diverse regions have the chance to participate. This initiative aims to strengthen grassroots tennis-ball cricket while creating a pathway into organised franchise competitions.

Having completed trials in Gurugram, the league will continue its selection process with the upcoming event at Saba Karim Cricket Academy, Noida, on November 15 as it progresses towards establishing a nationwide franchise platform for tennis-ball cricket.

The league invites aspiring players to take part in the forthcoming trials and move closer to representing a franchise in the Velocity Cricket League.
