The second ODI of the ongoing three-match series between India and New Zealand is taking place at Hnry Stadium in Wellington on Saturday (November 7), and after opting to field first, India have bowled the Black Caps out for just 134 runs in 41 overs.

The total of 134 scored by the Kiwis on Saturday is their lowest in a home ODI against India.

New Zealand’s previous lowest ODI total at home against India was 142/10 in 49.4 overs on March 27, 1994, in Auckland.

For India, Gurnoor Brar picked up four wickets for 30 runs in the second ODI, while two Kiwi batters each were sent back to the pavilion by Auqib Nabi Dar, Axar Patel and Anshul Kamboj.

The Kiwi batters never managed to understand the wicket and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Daryl Mitchell scored 55 runs off 104 balls for the hosts, while captain Mitchell Santner made 31. However, Glenn Phillips, who has been in red-hot form these days, was dismissed for a four-ball duck by Brar.
