All Milwaukee Public Schools are closed Wednesday due to heat
Before and after-school activities, recreation and athletic programs are canceled
MILWAUKEE —
All Milwaukee Public Schools will be closed Wednesday because of the excessive heat in the forecast.
The district says school-based staff should not report to work. Staff members who did not complete required training on Aug. 31 and have computer access at home can complete the training Wednesday.
Central Services and all administrative buildings will be open, and staff at those sites should report to work.
All MPS before- and after-school, recreation, and athletic programs are canceled.
