The Ministry of Ayush is advancing the use of Artificial Intelligence in Ayurveda and other Ayush systems, building on the Ayush Grid digital platform. The Ministry has been exploring AI across healthcare, research, education, information services and investment facilitation, with an emerging ecosystem that includes both specialised AI applications and broader collaborations with national AI initiatives. AI-based chatbots including MAISP, eLMS and e-CHARAK along with ARP Research Assistant, are being developed for citizens, researchers, students, medicinal-plant trade, yoga and investment.
The Ministry also highlighted that Yoga Saarthi serves as a yoga recommendation AI chatbot, and Nivesh Saarthi serves as an AI assistant for investment in the Ayush sector. It added that these chatbots demonstrate the expansion of Ayush Grid from digital portals towards interactive, intelligent and user-oriented AI services. The Ministry is also working with IndiaAI and Bhashini, making Ayush Grid portals available in 22 scheduled Indian languages.
