The superstar released a surprise new single Saturday “MORNING DEW (DONK)” — her first new music since her Grammy-winning “Act II: Cowboy Carter” dropped in 2024. The track doubles as a countdown clock: it kicks off 60 days until the 20th-anniversary reissue of her 2006 album “B’Day,” which lands September 4 — also her birthday.
Beyoncé hasn’t confirmed it, but fans widely expect a third album to complete the “Act” trilogy she began with 2022’s disco-and-house tribute “Renaissance” and continued with the country-leaning “Cowboy Carter.” Speculation has pegged “Act III” as a rock record — a theory fueled by her Halloween costume as rocker Betty Davis.
“MORNING DEW (DONK)” is streaming now on all major platforms.
