Finys, a US-based provider of core insurance software and services for property and casualty (P&C) carriers, has unveiled a rebuilt version of its Finys Suite at InsureTech Connect (ITC) Vegas, overhauling the technology underpinning policy, billing and claims operations.
The refreshed Suite runs on an extensively redesigned Finys Platform, which has been reengineered to improve performance, scalability, resilience and integration capabilities. The release also introduces a redesigned user interface, embedded CRM functionality, a revised data model and expanded configuration capabilities.
The overhaul comes as P&C insurers increasingly deploy AI across areas including underwriting, claims and customer service. Finys says the effectiveness of these applications depends heavily on the technology beneath them, including the availability and structure of data, the business rules AI can access and the workflows into which its outputs are integrated.
The company has therefore redesigned its Suite around these underlying requirements. The new platform is intended to provide AI with greater access to the data and processes needed to generate useful results across insurance operations.
The updated Suite includes redesigned landing and home screens, simplified navigation and streamlined workflows intended to reduce the time spent on routine tasks. Its embedded Finys CRM provides a consolidated view of customer contacts and interactions, while the revised data model is designed to improve access to information and support performance across complex carrier environments.
Finys Design Studio also gives carrier subject matter experts access to a low-code environment for configuring products, screens, rules and forms. AI assistants are integrated into the Suite, allowing users to ask questions, generate conversational insights and receive configuration assistance based on the part of the platform they are using.
The company says the changes extend beyond the Suite’s visual design. Existing insurance functionality across policy, billing and claims remains in place, while the underlying technology has been rebuilt to give carriers greater flexibility to modify workflows, connect services and introduce additional capabilities.
Finys provides core insurance technology and services to US P&C carriers. Its Suite covers the policy lifecycle across policy administration, billing and claims, alongside portals, CRM, document management, data, intelligence and configuration capabilities. The company has more than 25 years of experience providing insurance-specific technology to carriers.
Finys CEO Kurt Diederich said, “AI can only be as effective as the core environment supporting it. That is why we rebuilt the Finys Suite. We connected the data, products, rates, rules, and workflows AI needs to produce meaningful results across the business.”
