The USA TODAY Network has launched a new video highlight submission portal for our audience. This UGC tool creates more opportunities to share the moments that matter most: your athlete’s buzzer-beaters, game-winning scores, all the top highlights.
Ahead of the next incredible moment, here’s what you need to know…
How does the video submission process work?
1 . Click on the “Upload Your Video” link in the navigation bar
2. Upload your video highlight

The max length accepted for downloads is 30 seconds per video (up to 500 MB). Files must be MP4, MOV, or AVI
Step 3. Event details
-
School name, state and the opponent (if applicable)
-
Describe the play—the story behind the highlight
Step 4. Contact information and relationship to athlete

Email address: USA TODAY Network outlets will only use this to contact you about your submission

Relationship to the athlete: Parent, grandparent, legal guardian, or other family member
Step 5. Consent

USA TODAY Network won’t accept highlights unless the submitter has agreed to and completed the full legal consents required for the submission
Once Step 5 is completed, submit your video!
From there, USA TODAY High School Sports editors can review highlights for possible inclusion in everything from Plays of the Week to standalone highlight-reel clips for social media to in-article placements for game recaps and other content.
