Running back Jahiem White rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries while adding another score as a receiver, and quarterback Tayven Jackson accounted for three touchdowns as the Mean Green piled up 444 total yards.
Saturday renews a series that has not featured a regular-season meeting in 28 years, although the programs did meet in the First Responder Bowl following the 2024 season. Texas State gets the rivalry game at home after opening its season against Texas and UTSA, while North Texas will try to carry the momentum from its impressive defensive showing against UNLV onto the road.
