Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have raised a blended family full of great talents.
The actors, who tied the knot in 1997, welcomed their two children, Jaden and Willow, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. Will is also the father of Trey, born in 1992, from his previous marriage to Sheree Zampino. As Jaden and Willow have grown up, they’ve taken after their parents as creatives. Jaden made his debut as a rapper in 2010 and is currently the creative director of Christian Louboutin. Meanwhile, Willow is a musical prodigy, earning her first top 20 hit with “Whip My Hair” in 2010. She has since released eight studio albums and come into her own as a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, drums and the piano.
“I think what they’ve taught me collectively is that deep sense of self-acceptance,” Jada told PEOPLE in 2023 of her “little gurus.” “Like my kids, they love every part of me. They love every part of the journey. They are just such beautiful beings in that way, just the level of love, unconditional love, that they have for me and their dad.”
