Michelle Pfeiffer may be one of the most famous actresses in the world, but she’s not afraid to go bare-faced on social media.
The beloved actress, 68, whose first starring film role was in Grease 2, rose to fame in legendary films like Scarface and Dangerous Liaisons. She later became a household name as Catwoman in Batman Returns. In recent years, she’s earned tremendous acclaim as First Lady Betty Ford in The First Lady, and recently starred in the Amazon Prime Video Christmas movie Oh. What. Fun. Now dominating the networks with both Margo’s Got Money Troubles and The Madison, the star is reigning supreme in Hollywood.
Despite her international fame, Pfeiffer manages to stay humble. Unlike many Hollywood queens, she has no hesitation to go makeup-free on social media. Looking bare-faced and beautiful in a fun selfie from pottery class, the film icon went completely natural without a stitch of makeup. AND she managed to successfully make something!
Pfeiffer Shot Down Retirement Rumors
While there have been rumors that Pfeiffer is retiring from the entertainment business, the star made it clear that’s not what she meant.
“It’s the most ridiculous thing. They’re always saying that I’m retiring. I never said [that]. … Where does it say I’m retiring?” Pfeiffer asked Fallon.
When he suggested she hinted at it, Pfeiffer made it clear she simply doesn’t want to be the main star of a film anymore.
“All I said was I really love working with an ensemble cast. I said something about, ‘I never wanna star in another movie,’ and they took that out of context,” she said, US Magazine reported. “Of course I wanna star in another movie.”
“I’ve done three ensemble pieces in a row … it’s wonderful to be able to live with a character for such an extended period of time and you can really just go deeper and find all of the different layers,” she continued. “But it’s also really wonderful, and most important to me, that I get to work with all of this
talent. It’s an embarrassment of riches.”

How Does Pfeiffer Feel About Aging?
In a recent interview, Pfeiffer opened up about aging in Hollywood and facing a period when the coveted acting roles weren’t available. However, she said she ultimately pushed through and found herself in an even better place.
“For me, I hit a point when it was hard, and then I got over that hump and it was incredibly liberating,” Pfeiffer told Elle Canada recently. “Especially in my work, where sometimes you go from leading lady to grandmother, there’s this sort of no man’s land where you just feel irrelevant. But then you slog through that and you can end up in a new place. I’m actually really excited about the roles that I’m getting now.”
