Serie A side Napoli took a hefty 4-1 defeat to Porto in the Champions League yesterday and now find themselves at 27th in the table. But a point of friction came involving Kevin De Bruyne, who was very frustrated with the result and the performance.
Corriere dello Sport note that the midfielder wasn’t happy with Lorenzo Lucca during a passage of play. This led to an argument between the two, as the striker waved his arms to suggest that the Belgian played a bad pass. But De Bruyne responded by telling Lucca to ‘f*** off’ and also said: “Why are you speaking?”

That isn’t the only point of controversy, though. Radio Marte – via AreaNapoli, note that he also had a beef with two other players – Amir Rrahmani and Matteo Politano.
This was an argument, which is probably why the winger went into the post-game interview, appearing to taunt De Bruyne and other non-Italian players to speak up about the bad situation too.
Situation was already heated
This isn’t the first time Napoli have seen De Bruyne act as a rebel. Even during the defeat to Villarreal, he disobeyed instructions from Max Allegri and it became public knowledge. Things did settle but it shows that these instances are not one-off at all.
