The National Hurricane Center is monitoring an area of low pressure that’s forming along a front boundary.
It’s currently a few hundred miles south of Bermuda, and the environment could allow for the low to gain subtropical characteristics this weekend.
By early next week, conditions become unfavorable for development. Regardless, it’s not a threat to Florida or the United States.

This system follows typical November Climatology, getting pushed out to sea due to upper level troughing and hostile upper level winds.

So far, there’s been 10 named storms and only 1 hurricane. A well below average season.
