COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Berkeley County records show a University of South Carolina Gamecocks tight end has been arrested.
Caden Ramsey was arrested Monday in Berkeley County for racing on a public road.
Ramsey’s attorney Seth Rose provided the following statement to WIS:
“Caden is a great young man and an excellent student athlete. He has never been in any trouble, and we ask that you withhold judgment until this citation is resolved.”
USC Athletics gave the following statement:
“We are aware of the situation with freshman tight end Caden Ramsey and take matters like this seriously. We reserve further comment at this time.”
