ASUS clinical displays’ Thai FDA registration strengthens Southeast Asia healthcare presence
The ASUS MH3281A, MH2741A, and MH2441A clinical displays have been officially registered with the Thailand Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA). This registration represents an important milestone for the ASUS healthcare business and supports the continued expansion of the company’s clinical display portfolio in Thailand. It also reflects the ongoing ASUS commitment to delivering high-quality imaging solutions for healthcare professionals across Southeast Asia.
This latest registration builds upon the ASUS MH series’ established regulatory foundation in major healthcare markets worldwide. All three models are currently listed as Class I medical devices by the US FDA, registered with the Taiwan FDA, and CE marked under the European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR).
Designed to support demanding medical image viewing and PACS workflows, the MH series offers a range of display configurations tailored to diverse healthcare environments. The flagship MH3281A features a 31.5-inch 8MP OLED panel for exceptional detail visibility and contrast performance, while the MH2741A and MH2441A incorporate high-resolution 3.6MP IPS panels in 27-inch and 23.8-inch formats, respectively, delivering reliable performance for everyday clinical applications.
To provide reliable and consistent image reproduction for medical image viewing, all MH series models are fully compliant with the DICOM Part 14: Grayscale Standard Display Function (GSDF). This ensures precise grayscale rendering and dependable image consistency across various clinical environments.
In addition, Anti-Glare, Low-Reflection (AGLR) technology minimizes distracting reflections, while ASUS Eye Care+ technology helps reduce visual fatigue during extended viewing sessions. Together, these features enable healthcare professionals to maintain focus on fine image details and consistent color reproduction during prolonged image viewing workflows.
