The Miami Hurricanes come into tonight’s game against Florida State fresh off a bye and seeking their third straight win over their hated rivals.
No. 3 Miami improved to 5-0 (3-0 in ACC) with a 41-13 rout of Clemson in Death Valley. Darian Mensah leads the nation with an .842 completion percentage and a conference-leading 15 touchdown passes, while Malachi Toney will look to repeat his 107-yard, two-TD performance from last year’s meeting.

FSU fell to 3-3 (1-2) after last week’s 44-20 blowout loss at Louisville. The running abilities of quarterback Ashton Daniels and running back Ousmane Kromah give the Seminoles their best chance at pulling the upset and keeping the heat off coach Mike Norvell, who is 3-3 vs. Miami. The looming rain forecast also might level the playing field.

There’s a whole lot of color in the South Florida radar throughout the night. The Hurricanes and Seminoles are going to see rain throughout their game. The big question is whether lightning will strike nearby and cause a delay.
