About GrantWatch
GrantWatch is the Full Grant Lifecycle Platform, powered by the largest Human Verified™ grant database and proprietary GrantWatch Intelligence™ to help nonprofits, small businesses, individuals, Tribal Nations, colleges and universities, and government entities discover best-fit grants. From funder research, AI grant writing, and verified organization profiles to collaborative pipelines, CRM, grant calendars, and post-award management, GrantWatch brings the entire grant lifecycle together in one affordable platform.
GrantWatch is a grant research and management service. We do not award grants, distribute grant funding, or guarantee an award. How we verify grants
Find grants and plan ahead
Search Human Verified™ grants across funding categories and locations, then use Best Fit Grants and the AI Grant Finder to narrow your research. GrantWatch adds new grants and updates existing grant listings daily. Every grant also undergoes a scheduled review every 90–180 days to verify its information and availability. Our internal alert system notifies researchers of potential changes that may require earlier review. Each listing shows when its availability and details were last checked.
GrantWatch distinguishes open opportunities from upcoming opportunities announced by a funder whose opening date has not arrived or whose complete guidelines are not yet available. Forecasted opportunities are based on advance notices published by funding sources, often government agencies. Projected opportunities are based on GrantWatch’s analysis of a funder’s documented historical grantmaking cycles and are not necessarily announced by the funder. The displayed grant count changes daily. Archived grants are excluded from that count. The separate Archived Grants Tour displays eight closed grant examples so visitors can preview the information in GrantWatch listings. These expired examples are not counted as available opportunities.
Research funders and past awards
Explore the Foundation Directory, Awarded Grant Search, and Organization Search. GrantWatch organizes extensive IRS Form 990 and 990-PF information, historical recipients, financial data, and grantmaking activity to help you investigate who funders have supported, how much they have awarded, and their funding patterns. Use GrantWatch Intelligence™ for deeper research. Historical awards are research information, not confirmation that applications are open today.
Write, track, and manage funding
Develop proposals with the AI Grant Writing Tool, organize prospects in the Grant Prospecting Dashboard, follow deadlines with Grant Alerts and My Grant Calendar, and move opportunities through the 12-stage Grant Pipeline and Donor Pipeline. When a grant or donor is added to a pipeline, the Funder and Donor CRM is populated with available GrantWatch research information. Team collaboration has no additional per-seat fee, but each participating collaborator must have an active paid GrantWatch subscription.
