Television actor Manish Goel has entered the Salman Khan-hosted reality
show Bigg Boss 20 as the first wildcard contestant. He joined the host
on stage during Saturday’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode before entering the Bigg
Boss house.
Goel is known for his roles in television shows such as Anupamaa,
Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He has also acted
in Bhabhi, Devi, Bhagyalakshmi, Ayushman Bhava, Tantra and Hamari
Wali Good News.
His film credits include Hum Phirr Milein Na Milein, for which he
also received writing credit, and Hanak.
The actor has also participated in several reality shows. He competed
with his wife, Poonam Narula, in the first season of celebrity dance show Nach
Baliye, where the couple finished as runners-up. His other non-fiction
appearances include Zara Nachke Dikha, Say Shava Shava and Ustaadon
Ka Ustaad.
In 2013, Goel won the celebrity cooking reality show Welcome – Baazi
Mehmaan Nawazi Ki.
When Goel joined host Salman Khan on stage, the two initially played a
prank on the contestants, suggesting that the actor had appeared on the show to
promote his upcoming project.
Goel also shared his views on the housemates and described contestant
Mahhi Vij as calculative. Mahhi appeared delighted to see the actor, as the two
have known each other for a long time.
Apart from Goel, Bigg Boss 20 is also set to witness another
wildcard entry on Sunday’s episode. Although the identity of the person has not
been revealed, the promos indicate social media influencer and content creator
Nakul Dhull, popularly known as Mitthu Don, may join the show.
Dhull, an engineering graduate from Faridabad, Haryana, recently courted
controversy over viral videos in which he was seen making remarks about women,
referring to them as the “lower gender”.
Bigg Boss 20 streams daily at 9pm on JioHotstar, and airs on Colors TV at 10.30pm.
