Zara Craig and Abbi Harrison are the two players in line to make their international debuts at the tournament.
23-year-old Craig is a seam-bowling all-rounder who has progressed through Ireland’s age-group pathway and was part of the 2023 Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup squad.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Harrison earns her first senior call-up after representing Ireland at the 2023 and 2025 Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cups.
Maritz also returns to the squad after a five-year absence. The all-rounder, who made her international debut in 2017, has 43 international appearances for Ireland, with her last outing coming in 2021.
Kia McCartney, who has five ODI appearances, is another player looking to make her debut in the shortest format.
Ireland have been drawn in Group A alongside Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Scotland and hosts UAE.
