The Mega Millions jackpot is growing again.
With no grand prize winner since July, the jackpot has climbed to an estimated $300 million for the Tuesday, Sept. 29, drawing. The prize carries a cash value of $124.1 million, giving players across the country another chance at a life-changing payday.
The last jackpot was won July 28, when a ticket sold at a Wawa in Bradenton, Florida, matched all six numbers to claim an $800 million prize. Now, with Tuesday night’s drawing just hours away, here’s what to know.

When was the last Mega Millions jackpot winner?
The most recent Mega Millions jackpot was won July 28, when a Florida ticket matched all six numbers to claim an $800 million prize.
The winning ticket was sold at a Wawa convenience store in Bradenton, according to Florida Lottery officials. The jackpot’s cash value was $344.2 million.
How to play the Mega Millions
Mega Millions tickets are sold at convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores and other licensed retailers. Some states also allow players to buy tickets online.
Players select five white-ball numbers from 1 to 70 and one gold Mega Ball number from 1 to 24. Those who don’t want to choose their own numbers can opt for a Quick Pick.
Mega Millions tickets now include a built-in multiplier that increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times. Previously, players had to pay extra to add the Megaplier feature.
