PepsiCo has launched a global agency review focused on AI-driven marketing transformation, inviting pitches from major advertising networks and management consultancies to redefine how the food and beverage giant executes its marketing strategy, according to industry sources.
The review underscores the accelerating convergence between traditional creative services and enterprise technology consulting. While PepsiCo has not disclosed the full commercial scope of the review, the initiative aligns directly with its public ambition to evolve into an “agentic AI-first” enterprise, embedding artificial intelligence across its marketing, decision-making, sales, and operational workflows.
As global brands increasingly prioritize data automation, media optimization, and AI-powered content generation, PepsiCo is seeking partners capable of integrating advanced technology into business outcomes rather than relying solely on traditional agency models. The company has already laid the groundwork for this strategy through a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud to deploy Gemini-powered tools across analytics, workforce productivity, and go-to-market execution, aiming to replace isolated AI experiments with an enterprise-wide, real-time marketing ecosystem.
