Arizona Cardinals RB Tyler Allgeier rushed 18 times for 38 yards and caught one pass for 10 yards in an 18-16 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6.
Why it Matters: With Jeremiyah Love sidelined, Allgeier had a chance to lead the Arizona backfield, but he didn’t exactly run with the opportunity. Allgeier was bottled up all game while Bam Knight handled 17 touches and proved to be far more effective. Allgeier still figures to be the next man up after Love, but Knight may have earned himself a larger role.
