When I was offered the show, my first reaction was, ‘No, I can’t host this.’ Then I met the team and they explained everything to me. They showed me some clips and told me, ‘Sir, we don’t want actor Virender Sehwag. We want Virender Sehwag. Just be yourself and host the show in your own way.’ They told me there would be no fixed script where I would be asked to do this or that. The writers would be there to help me. Since it is not live, if I make a mistake, we can record it again. That gave me the comfort I needed. I then said, ‘Okay, we can host this.’ (Photo: Instagram)
