“Big Brother” looked back at its storied history on Thursday during its milestone 1,000th episode and earned a couple Guinness Book of World Records in the process.
Now, the remaining season 28 houseguests are going back in time to the year 1,000 and the medieval times for the latest twist.
Ten houseguests will quickly become nine in one night all without an HOH, veto or BB Blockbuster.
How will it play out?
Viewers will see it all during Sunday’s episode on Aug. 30.
Fans who have avoided the live feeds – yes, they returned a day early – will have to wait a little longer to find out who didn’t survive the twist.
CBS is airing a Dolly Parton special in Big Brother’s usual time slot to celebrate the life of the country music icon. “Big Brother” will air following the Parton tribute.

The start time is an hour later than normal due to CBS airing an hour tribute show titled: “Remembering Dolly: A Rhinestone Life” to honor the life of country music superstar and cultural icon Dolly Parton.
Parton died at 80 years old on Tuesday, Aug. 25 after a brief battle with cancer.
