The 2026 season for the Green Bay Packers has started about as poorly as possible.

For a team that started with Super Bowl aspirations that doesn’t bode well for the rest of the year.

They’ve played three games and it’s been a significant struggle in each of them with offensive line issues being Matt LaFleur’s and Jordan Love’s biggest problem.

While the Packers (1-2) aren’t winless – they managed to eke out an overtime victory in Week 2 against the New York Jets one week ago – they’re closing the door on September after having their largest margin of defeat in a home game in eight years.

That performance came in an embarrassing 35-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons during “Thursday Night Football” three days ago at Lambeau Field. The “butt-whooping,” as LaFleur called it, led to the home fans booing the team off the field.

Since they already played in Week 3, the Packers now have some extended time to mull everything over about all that has gone wrong before their next game in one week.

While the Packers don’t play on Sunday, Sept. 27, there are 14 games on the NFL schedule with a game in Brazil highlighting the schedule.

Do the Packers play today?

No, the Packers do not play on Sunday, Sept. 27, after they kicked off the Week 3 schedule on “Thursday Night Football” on Sept. 24.

It’s not a bye but after having two games within four days it provides the Packers with some extra time to attempt to find a solution for some of their issues before the season gets completely away from them.

The Packers’ official bye comes in Week 11 in late November prior to their Thanksgiving Eve game.

What time do the Packers play today?

You get a Sunday off from the Packers.

But if you’re looking ahead to the next several Sundays after today the Packers play at noon Oct. 4, 3:25 p.m. Oct. 11, 7:20 p.m. Oct. 18 and then 3:25 p.m. Oct. 25.

When is the Packers’ next game?

The Packers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Week 4 game on Sunday, Oct. 4, with a noon kickoff.

The game will be the only noon start time for the Packers of their five October games. It will also be the Packers’ third road game in their first four games.

Like the Packers, the Buccaneers have gotten off to a rough start to the season.

Tampa Bay is one of only two NFC teams without a win record entering Week 3. The Buccaneers play host to the 2-0 Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 27.

What is the Packers record?

The Packers are 1-2 after losing to the Atlanta Falcons, 35-14, on “Thursday Night Football” Sept. 24, at Lambeau Field. Green Bay’s defense allowed 242 rushing yards, including 194 to star Bijan Robinson. By contrast, the Packers rushed for a total of 17 yards.

Green Bay began the season with a 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on the road that featured another classic fourth-quarter collapse. After the Packers led 22-10 with 5:09 left in the third quarter, the Vikings outscored the Packers, 29-0, the rest of the way, including 22-0 in the fourth quarter.

All looked lost in Week 2 when they trailed 17-7 in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets before they engineered a rally of their own and pulled off a 20-17 overtime win.

NFL Brazil game

The second of nine international games will take place in Week 3. The Baltimore Ravens-Dallas Cowboys will play in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the first time an NFL game will be played in the country’s second-largest city.

The game will be in the 3:25 p.m. timeslot and televised on CBS with Jim Nantz, JJ Watt and Tracy Wolfson on the call.

It’s the first of five straight weeks that there will be an international game with three in London across Weeks 4-6 and then a game in Paris, France, in Week 7.

The NFL kicked off the international slate of games Down Under in Week 1 with the first-ever game in Australia. The San Francisco 49ers upset the Los Angeles Rams, 27-7, in Melbourne.
