“Below Deck Mediterranean” cast member Nathan Gallagher talked about his young family’s future and overcoming challenges in his final episode before he was arrested and convicted on domestic violence-related charges.
Gallagher’s latest stint on the show wrapped up with the Season 11 finale on Oct. 5. While the episodes were filmed prior to his December 2025 arrest, the season was in the middle of airing when news of the alleged domestic violence incident broke.
In September, the 27-year-old was convicted on charges of assault and choking stemming from his arrest in Australia. He is facing a warrant for his arrest after failing to appear for his court hearing, a representative for New South Wales Courts previously confirmed to USA TODAY.
The alleged victim of the incident was not identified. However, court records show Gallagher’s former girlfriend Gael Cameron, a fellow Bravo cast member, filed an order seeking protection from him.
Gallagher and Cameron met while both appearing on “Below Deck Mediterranean” Season 9, which aired in 2024. They have a 1-year-old son, Kayden.
A Bravo spokesperson confirmed in a statement to USA TODAY that the network “does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.”
Nathan Gallagher talked family’s future on final ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ episode

On the “Below Deck Mediterranean” Season 11 finale episode, Gallagher reflected on the challenges he faced throughout the charter season, during which he was a bosun on the superyacht Akira One.
“I will always come out on the other side,” he said in a confessional.
At the time of the season’s filming in 2025, Gallagher and Cameron were still in a relationship. While Akira One was chartering out of Croatia, Cameron and baby Kayden stayed at a rental home near the port to see Gallagher between trips.
Throughout the season, Gallagher and Cameron faced struggles as new parents, which ultimately bled into his work life.
“I’ve had a rough season, but I know what’s important,” Gallagher said in a later confessional. “I don’t know what the next move is, but I want to focus on my family.”
Nathan Gallagher, Joe Bradley spar in ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ finale

Gallagher’s lingering tensions with deckhand Joe Bradley came to a head in the finale after the crew returned from a night out. The pair’s friendship was strained in part because of Gallagher and Cameron’s relationship.
After Bradley said “it would be so much easier” if the bosun was not a father, Gallagher responded, “do not disrespect my family.”
He then issued a warning for Bradley to stop talking, to which Bradley asked if Gallagher was going to hit him.
“Do not tempt me,” Gallagher replied.
“I don’t think Gael will be very happy,” Bradley responded.
What we know about Nathan Gallagher’s arrest and conviction
While the alleged victim of the domestic incident involving Gallagher was not identified, court records show he is also named in an Apprehended Violence Application filed on behalf of Cameron.
An Apprehended Violence Application seeks a court order to protect an individual from someone they fear may harm them, according to the New South Wales Local Court.
In an Aug. 26 statement to Rolling Stone, Gallagher said, “I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” calling it “an extremely complicated situation.”
Cameron referenced the situation in a statement on her Instagram story on Sept. 5.
“Hey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown for Kayden and I,” she wrote in a since-expired post. “It’s been a tough season but I have been using the past few months to quietly heal and rebuild for little man and myself.”
