The ongoing controversy surrounding Bigg Boss 20 has drawn a reaction from Elvish Yadav after contestants Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, and wildcard entrant Nakul Dhull got into a physical altercation inside the house. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner took to social media to share his thoughts on the incident, making a sarcastic remark about the show’s rules.Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on October 13, Elvish revealed that he had watched the reality show after a long time. Suggesting that the rules might have changed, he wrote, “Itne time baad aaj biggboss dekha Rules change hogye shayad ab jo pitra hai usi ko bahar karre hai. Sad #BiggBoss20.”Although Elvish did not mention anyone by name, his post came amid the controversy surrounding the clash between Gullu and Nakul. The remark was widely interpreted as an indirect reference to the incident and the questions surrounding the show’s handling of the confrontation. Elvish and Gullu also share a connection through Roadies Double Cross, where Gullu emerged as the winner.
What happened between Gullu and Nakul Dhull?
The argument between Gullu and Nakul escalated during a recent episode of Bigg Boss 20. The dispute reportedly began after Nakul brought up comments allegedly made by Qazi Touqeer about ScoutOP. When Scout confronted Qazi over the remarks, the discussion grew heated, with Gullu also becoming involved.Nakul and Gullu subsequently exchanged heated words, and the argument turned physical. The confrontation prompted other housemates to intervene and separate them to prevent the situation from escalating further. Mahhi Vij was also seen reacting strongly to the incident.Following the altercation, several contestants questioned Nakul’s behaviour. Scout, Love Gill and YUNG DSA were among those who attempted to explain why physical aggression was unacceptable inside the house. Nakul, meanwhile, expressed frustration with what he described as drama and backbiting among the contestants.
Gullu’s team questions whether the fight was planned
The incident also prompted a strong response from Gullu’s team, which criticised the confrontation and questioned the circumstances surrounding it.“This is so unfair How are people like this even allowed to enter the house in the first place, and for what reason? He literally came from outside with a plan to fight with Gullu, got physical with him, and did exactly what he came for. And yes, we have every reason to question whether this was planned,” the statement read.The team also raised questions about the timing of reports about the fight. According to its statement, information about the physical altercation had allegedly surfaced on Saturday, even though the confrontation reportedly took place on Sunday.“We want answers about how the news of a physical altercation between him and Gullu was leaked on Saturday when the actual fight happened on Sunday. How could such specific information about an incident be out a day before it even happened? Because, at that point, the incident hadn’t even taken place in real time,” the team added.The allegations about the fight being planned have not been independently established. The team’s statement reflects its position on the matter, and the questions it raised about the reported leak remain separate from what was shown during the confrontation.
Gullu’s team demands action against Nakul
In its statement, Gullu’s team also condemned physical aggression inside the reality show and called for serious consequences. It emphasised that disagreements between contestants should not cross the line into physical violence.“Secondly, unnecessary physical violence and crossing someone’s personal boundaries are absolutely unacceptable. Bigg Boss is a show, not a place where people should be allowed to threaten or physically attack others,” the team stated.
