The announcement came as a part of the club’s statement confirming the date for the General Assembly, scheduled for 19 September.
“The Board of Directors of FC Barcelona, at its ordinary meeting held on September 3, 2026, approved the convocation of the Ordinary General Assembly of Members for Saturday, September 19 (9:30 a.m. for the first call, 10:00 a.m. for the second call), in accordance with Article 27 of the Statutes,” the statement started.
As part of the Assembly, Barcelona will present and explain all of their achievements during the 2025/26 season, of which the club’s revenue will also be a part.
“Thursday’s meeting also served to finalize the annual accounts for the 2025/26 season, which show positive ordinary results for the third consecutive season, thus achieving the objective of financial equilibrium in a season marked by significant operational and capacity constraints.

“In economic terms, this season has also been marked by a new revenue record, exceeding the €1 billion mark for the first time.”
Return to Camp Nou a major factor
Further elaborating on the matter, Barcelona credited the record revenue mainly to the team’s return to the Spotify Camp Nou last season.
After more than two years away, the Blaugrana returned home in November last year, and the boost has been visible, even though the stadium has not yet been at full capacity.
“This figure is primarily due to improved revenue from stadium operations, despite having played some matches during the first half of the year at both the Estadi Johan Cruyff and the Estadi Olímpic, and some matches at the Spotify Camp Nou with a capacity of 42,000 spectators.”

Barcelona highlight that these numbers are significant because despite the hurdles of playing some matches away and many at not full capacity, the the projected budget for the year has been almost fully met.
“This fact reaffirms the great future potential of the Spotify Camp Nou once it is fully operational.”
Other factors that have also contributed to this record revenue include the continued increase in sponsorship income and record turnover from the sale of Club merchandise through subsidiary BLM.
