95% of affected customers should have power restored by Monday, FPL says

Florida Power and Light says it expects to have 95% of affected customers who can “safely accept power” to be restored by end of day Monday, Oct. 12.

Many of those customers are expected to have a power back sooner, FPL said it a statement Saturday night.

As of 7:30 p.m. local time, 122,830 Escambia County customers were still without power, as well as 78,590 customers in Santa Rosa County and 44,740 customers in Okaloosa County.
