Towson University reports shooting on York Road, issues campuswide shelter-in-place alert
TOWSON, Md. —
A shelter-in-place alert was issued Sunday night campuswide at Towson University.
The university posted on its website an emergency situation in which everyone on campus is advised to shelter in place, close windows and doors.
There were reports of an emergency response in the 8000 block of York Road.
TU Public Safety sent an alert to the campus community at 7:20 p.m. reporting a shooting at 8013 York Road.
No further information was immediately released.
