President Donald Trump is still headed to Texas next week, just not to Waco. He’ll rally for Republicans in Corpus Christi and Lubbock, including Ken Paxton in the Texas U.S. Senate race, as early voting is already underway.
KVUE, an ABC affiliate in Austin, reported that Trump’s planned Oct. 27 visit to Waco was canceled, according to the office of U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions.
But instead of going only to Lubbock in West Texas, an event page from the Republican National Committee says Trump is headed to Corpus Christi that day.
Here’s what we know so far about Trump’s Oct. 27 visit to Texas and what recent polls show.
